Cooler rooms, softer glare.
The same film technology we use on cars, applied to home and office glass — cuts the heat and glare coming through windows without blocking the view or darkening the room too much.
- Reduces heat build-up on sun-facing rooms
- Cuts glare on screens and TVs
- Blocks the majority of UV that fades furniture and flooring
- Adds daytime privacy without curtains or blinds

Fitted legal, first time.
- 01
Front side windows
The windows either side of the driver's seat need to let through at least 35% of visible light once the tint and glass are measured together.
- 02
Rear windows
For cars, wagons, hatches and convertibles, rear windows follow the same 35% minimum. Other vehicle types have more flexibility, but need external mirrors on both sides if the rear glass is tinted.
- 03
Windscreen
Only a narrow anti-glare band at the very top, and stone-guard film on goods vehicles — no tint across the main windscreen.
- 04
Getting it checked
Any testing station can measure overall VLT with a calibrated meter. We can supply written confirmation of the finished VLT on request.
Summary only, general information based on current NZTA vehicle rules and not a substitute for official guidance — rules can change, so confirm anything safety-critical directly with NZTA or a testing station.
